Peer Support

Do you ever feel the need to talk to someone about your disability, but your friends and family just “don’t get it”?

Join a peer support group at FREED to just listen, get questions answered or answer questions and meet some great people who know what your life is all about because they, too, are living with a disability! Peer support is people with disabilities who come together to form friendships, get support and encouragement and learn from each other. Peer support is also provided by staff members in conjunction with other services. New groups can be formed upon request.

If needed, therapeutic counseling referrals are made accordingly.
