  3. Adapt – a national grass-roots community that organizes disability rights activists to engage in nonviolent direct action, including civil disobedience.
  4. Disability Rights California  – Mission is to advance the rights of Californians with disabilities. This organization also provides the Client Assistance Program which helps people resolve issues with the Department of Rehabilitation and provides a Grievance Procedure for consumers of DOR and ILC services.
  5. Not Dead Yet is a national, grassroots disability rights group that opposes legalization of assisted suicide and euthanasia as deadly forms of discrimination against old, ill and disabled people.
  6. Disability Rights Education and Defense (DREDF) is a  national disability rights law and policy center that advances the civil and human rights of people with disabilities.
  7. Californians for Disability Rights – Mission is to improve the quality of life for all persons with any disability through education and training – by working to remove barriers through advocacy and change in public policy.
