Responsibilities include:
> the ability to attend board meetings once a month,
> provide oversight and support for FREED and for the Executive Director,
> involvement in fundraising activities,
> understanding and endorsing the Independent Living Philosophy, and
> being an advocate for systems change, and the rights of disabled persons
