- Responsibilities include:
- the ability to attend board meetings once a month,
- provide oversight and support for FREED and for the Executive Director,
- involvement in fundraising activities,
- understanding and endorsing the Independent Living Philosophy, and
- being an advocate for systems change, and the rights of disabled persons
